The Beginning of Autumn, or Lì Qiū in Chinese, is one of the 24 solar terms in China. It marks the start of a new season, where the weather gradually cools and the leaves start to turn yellow. Despite bidding farewell to the hot summer, there are many things to look forward to during this time. For one, it signals the harvest season, a time where we gather the fruits of our labor from the year before. It also signifies a new beginning, a fresh start to work towards our goals and dreams.
